The measures imposed by the government to promote the creation of knowledge companies, bearing fruit. From 2010 there are more than 650 additional startups emerged from universities, reports the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
In addition, the government provided more than one hundred loans averaging 35,000 euros in promising start-ups from science.
Minister Henk Kamp (Economic Affairs) and State Sander Dekker (Education) argue that the incentive program that started five years ago, is on track. 2018 put governments, businesses and research institutions in total 132.4 million in order to make better use of publicly financed knowledge.
