OOSTERHOUT – V & D department store closes in Oosterhout. It is the first store that closes since the group earlier this year ended up in heavy weather. That the company has confirmed to RTL.
According to the spokesman V & D is the closure is not the result of the problems in the group. It could be a result of the realignment of the retail portfolio. The company wanted the establishment actually close in 2014, but because the landlord had no other candidate, the store remained at lower rental rates.
Meanwhile, the landlord would have a new tenant for the property. The sixteen employees a job offer elsewhere in the company.
