Two months after his election victory was the Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras yesterday received with military honors in Berlin.
In his first weeks as prime minister had Tsipras wanted especially support for his political agenda at the left-wing governments in Italy and France. Because this yielded nothing, and because the financing needs of his country are increasingly urgent, Tsipras had to have contact Angela Merkel, who has a casting vote in Europe.
