The Triodos Bank has refused to open a business account for Proud, an interest group for (former) sex workers. Proud to know that yesterday.
Triodos says in a letter that the bank “does not provide services to corporate clients who move their activities in the sector pornography. Such a work, according to the bank reason for exclusion. “We are not some obscure porn business. We want to make us strong just for interests of sex workers, “says a spokesman Proud.
Proud says he is surprised at the rejection because the association” because of social commitment ‘had chosen Triodos. Triodos itself as a sustainable bank that invests in social projects, fair trade businesses, organic farming and arts and culture.
Proud will complain search against Triodos and another bank.
