With much fanfare Samsung and HTC today at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona presented their new flagship smartphones: Galaxy S6 and HTC M9. They hope to win back considerable ground on Apple’s successful iPhone 6.

Apple sold thanks to the new larger screen the final months of last year, up 74.5 million iPhones and booked with $ 18 billion, the highest quarterly profit ever.
At the same time sales of Samsung just dropped in for approximately 72 to 75 million copies. Samsung sold in 2013, a third of all smartphones worldwide, last year it was ‘only’ a quarter.
The new Galaxy Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge should soon bring change. Both devices have a much faster processor, thinner and more luxurious look aanmerkelijker out. Longer battery life

With 10 minutes charging time the phones are also used for several hours. The new S6 full charge lasts even only half as long as Apple’s iPhone 6, Samsung claims.
The Galaxy’s better do come at a price. Samsung’s new models are almost as expensive as the iPhone 6.
The Samsung violence HTC’s presentation seemed a little too pale. The M9, the successor of the acclaimed HTC M8, but not particularly surprised connoisseurs. The device is faster, slightly thinner, the battery is better, as the camera. Really totally new features are not found there.
Mobile payment
Samsung presented further Samsung Pay, the mobile payment system that has to compete with Apple Pay. Mobile payment with the smartphone is seen as the future: banks, telecom companies and smartphone makers are all working hard at it. The question is whether Samsung Pay also coming to the Netherlands. For example, we recently launched its own payment system in which it cooperates with Samsung. Rabo Wallet is currently only using two Samsung devices.
