Mayor: Samson said to get out of cabinet

Update Labour leader Diederik Samsom denies that he said is that the Labour Party gets out of the cabinet as yet more than 35 billion cubic meters of gas is extracted in Groningen this year. He thus responds to request the ANP to a statement by Labour mayor Meindert Schollema of Groningen Pekela.

Schollema said at RTV Noord that he had arranged by telephone with Samson that he may on behalf of the Labour leader say ,, If it is more than 35, then the Labour Party is no longer part of this government ” says Schollema opposite ANP later Friday in a statement:. ,, Diederik Samson said to me that if there is more yet over 35 billion cubic meters extracted, that he will not make it. ”
Private interpretation
Schollema Samson says he announced to report this to RTV Noord and does that then with his own interpretation – in that case the PvdA get off the cabinet – done. Schollema was reassured by the call with Samson. ,, He meant it from the bottom of his heart, ” said the mayor.
Safe scenarios

Decision
The government decided earlier this week the gas production in the first half to cut back to 16.5 billion cubic meters. Around July 1, the Cabinet what is gained in the second half of the year.
