'Philips millions scammed by foreign partners' – AD.nl

Small foreign partner companies Philips have committed in recent years large-scale business fraud in the Dutch technology company. According to research by the FD.



Drivers at these partner companies funneled the newspaper a total of about 20 million euros Philips monies away. They bought their houses, sports cars

and memberships of chic clubs.

The fraud took place in freight audit, control and payment of freight charges. Philips showed this activity on a number of small parties that flows worth billions checked. Some of these parties made structurally suppliers pay late and thus created surpluses that they wegsluisden to private accounts.

Bankrupt
One of the fraudulent parties was Inspeg, a former Philips subsidiary in Germany; the other an American company, Trendset. Both companies went bankrupt.
