WeTransfer, the global file-transfer service in Amsterdam, has a sizeable financing round completed top -investeerder, Highland Capital Partners Europe. The financing round support the rapid growth of WeTransfer in the US, Europe and elsewhere.
Highland Capital Partners Europe, which had already invested in Matchesfashion.com and Fire Watch in the United Kingdom and Rent the Runway and Malwarebytes in the United States, invested $ 25 million, with a minority stake in the company was acquired.
The successful completion of fundraising represents a new milestone for WeTransfer, the company provides an injection of capital as well as expertise.
70 million users
WeTransfer has since 2013 been continuously profitable and its user base steadily expanded to 70 million users.
