US banks pass stress test – AD.nl

According to the central bank of the United States, the Federal Reserve, the largest banks in the country to withstand a crisis. All 31 banks failed in the first part of the annual stress test of the financial regulator, it was announced yesterday.



The US central bank conducted the stress test in 2009, after the crisis had almost completely brought down the financial system. The test checks whether the Federal Reserve banks have sufficient capital reserves in simulated crisis scenarios.

Next Wednesday there will be more detailed results, including the internal control and risk management of banks scrutinized.
