Number of files increases – Focus on News

There seems to have come to an end the long period of decline file. Since April 2014 the ANWB observed an increase in the queue length.

The file heaviness is still not at the level of the economic recession. Moreover, the flow of traffic has improved in recent years. That is partly due to the construction of additional lanes.

Especially motorists in the middle of the country and around Rotterdam had much more delay. The biggest obstacles lie in the morning rush hour on the roads to Amsterdam and Utrecht. In the evening rush hour drivers are the longest in the traffic jam around Amersfoort and Rotterdam.

The morning strikers were in the past quarter, the busiest on Mondays and Tuesdays. In the evening rush hour traffic jams on Thursday were the longest.
