Majority of Greeks want an agreement with creditors – De Morgen

No less than 71.9 percent of Greeks believe that an agreement with the creditors is the best solution for the country. Yet 23.2 percent in favor of a break with Europe and 4.9 pc says nothing about the crisis.

The government of leftist Alexis Tsipras (SYRIZA), which has been in power since January, is still very

popular with the majority of the Greeks. Nevertheless supports only half of the Greeks political negotiations Tsipras with Europe.

Premier Tsipras itself is still the most popular politician in Greece. He is supported by 61.3 per cent of the Greeks. Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis is a lot less popular and is supported by 51.3 per cent of the Greeks.
