Rector Dymph van den Boom’s acting president joined the Executive Board of the University of Amsterdam, after Louise Award Sunday as a director had resigned. The board members have expressed their confidence in Van den Boom, reported the Boards of Trustees of the University of Amsterdam and University of Amsterdam.

Edgar du Perron, Dean of the Faculty of Law, is a temporary

role taxed as Vice Rector with the reform agenda. This agenda will be developed in collaboration with the academic community, according to the Boards of Trustees. The basis for the agenda is the ten-point plan which should lead to more democracy and transparency within the university.
