This writes Financieele Dagblad on Monday.
Zuivelcoöperatie DeltaMilk and family business A-Ware try to devise a solution that DOC remains in Dutch hands. The companies will look to other dairy companies to work with.
DOC Kaas has a cooperative of 1,200 farmers behind, but the merger steps more and more peasants to A-ware.
The dairy farmers fear include the low price paid by the German company for the milk. This is a few cents below the price paid on the Dutch market.
The Director of DOC Kaas represent to the FD that the company can run the fastest, the DOC’s strategy as the company accompanied by DMK. A merger with Dutch parties do not produce the same results
