Some of the older people living independently, suffers from limitations in one or more daily activities. In the age group 65 to 74 year olds, one in five people living at home difficulty with tasks such as housework, shopping and climbing stairs. In-75s is that half of the group. It reports the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS).
Independent Living
Most of the elderly living in the Netherlands independently. For the Health of the CBS elderly are divided into two groups: 65 t / m 74 years and over 75s. The study makes statements about heavy housework, housework, climbing stairs, shopping, bathing or showering and going out.
