House prices rise 2.0% in December – CBS – Yahoo! News

Compared to the same period a year earlier increased housing prices in December by 2.0%. This keeps the price increase already a nine consecutive months. Fully in 2014 the increase is 0.9% on an annual basis.

“For the first time since the crisis, the average price level of a year higher than that of the previous year,” the statistics office.

The average

price of existing homes in December 2014 about the same as in May 2003, CBS reported.

Compared to August 2008, when housing prices peaked, the price level 19% lower. “Compared to the valley in June 2013 prices are up 3.1%.”
