1,500 protesters ask in Utrecht 'real jobs' – NU.nl

FNV chairman Ton Heerts said previously in a speech that more and more employers see employees as a cost. They would offer them precarious contracts at the lowest price.

Heerts calls upon industry and government to stop this and to offer more jobs with enough security, respect and a stable income.

The trade union movement speaks in a pamphlet about an “organized exploitation”. “They (employers ed.) Find all sorts of ways to get out from under the CLA and under their employers’ responsibilities,” writes FNV.

The problem would mostly play in the construction, transportation, home care, the

meat industry , parcel delivery and the agricultural sector.

Participants in the march walked in 45 minutes, including via the Catharijnesingel, Vredenburg, the Neude, Dom Square Mariaplaats and Moreelsepark.

Later in the afternoon and in the evening there are meetings, speeches and appearances in the Jaarbeurs.
