Greece should not count on postponement of its financial obligations to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). That said IMF Christine Lagarde topvrouw today in Washington.

Greece by the ongoing battle over tackling its economic problems for months noodkredieten no longer receiving the eurolanden and the IMF, and sees the bottom increasingly come closer to the treasury. The Greek Government should therefore consider future repayment obligations to not satisfy the IMF.

Lagarde called it a wicked way. ‘Deferral should be seen as a demand for additional funding that is provided to the entire world community. Many countries within that community are worse than Greece itself. “

Greece, according to the British newspaper Financial Times recently polled by the IMF or the upcoming payments could be delayed. Lagarde Thursday was not specific on that message, but said that in recent decades not only developed country officially has requested postponement to the IMF.

Procrastination is in the past thirty years, only a limited number very poor countries provided. Moreover yield much result that is not on, says Lagarde. “The IMF operates on the basis of rules that apply to everyone,” concluded the Frenchwoman. “It is not recommended to break the rules.”
