CEO Pieter Elbers Airline KLM argues in the Telegraph for a Delta Plan to save the Dutch aviation sector. Elbers believes that the Dutch economy is directly threatened if the hands are not beaten one. With increased competition from the Middle East is the position of KLM and Schiphol under pressure. As against to go is “an integral policy ‘needed’ in consultation with the government and airport”, as Elbers states in the newspaper.
