Pension Federation fears premium increase pension – NieuwsUit.com

Pension contributions in 2015 may increase significantly as new pension rules do not go fast.

The Pension Federation, the umbrella organization of the pension funds, warns that if the Senate is not for the end of 2014 to accept the new pension rules, which will be many pension compelled in 2015 to increase the pension (significantly).

In order to ensure that pension funds are not reintroduced into the financial problems, there are new pension rules in the making. To enter this fact, the new rules must first be approved by the Senate.

In this new pension rules, inter alia, that pension funds have to hold higher buffers. However, these higher buffers need only be realized in 2016, provided that the Senate will approve the plans yet this year. So do pension funds not directly meet this higher buffers, which would mean that immediately premiums should be raised.

To prevent this, so does the Pension Federation now an urgent appeal to the Members of the Senate in the Netherlands to take action. If that does not work at all then the Pension Federation hopes for leniency DNB (the Dutch Central Bank).
