German Mexx now bankrupt – Parool.nl

After the collapse of the Dutch parent company Mexx early December, also has German daughter of the fashion chain sought bankruptcy. That the trustee announced today.

Mexx has 35 stores in Germany and around 500 people. Worldwide, there are

Decline
Mexx has been struggling for years with a decline. In better times, the group achieved an annual turnover of over one billion euros.
