Unions 'Ultimatum Brink's expired, actions follow' – Parool.nl

The ultimatum that unions FNV Transport & amp; Logistics and CNV Professionals money transporter Brink’s Netherlands had made a good social plan has expired without Brink’s has come up with such a plan over the bridge. That left FNV director Meindert Gorter know today.

The deadline for a good social plan for the 600 workers made redundant, went last night at 23:59 pm. Gorter the unions have not heard of Brink’s.

There follow actions of the unions, but what exactly mean and when that will occur, according to Gorter is not yet decided. “That is very clear,” he said. The driver will find that Brink’s ‘sufficient time’ has had to come up with a social plan. The layoffs were

announced on October 17.

Departure from the Netherlands
Yesterday it was announced that the Dutch branch of the US company Brink’s has been sold to an independent organization representing the interests promotes inter alia, staff and customers. Brink’s Netherlands therefore continues independently, but the layoffs are thus not the job.

The company says it is able downsized to focus on providing services for retail, retail, public sector and banks. The former parent company was no longer willing to invest money in Brink’s Netherlands.

Brink’s gets lost its biggest customer Rabobank who transfers to Money Service Netherlands (GSN). There is still spoken with stakeholders to house employees of Brink’s at GSN or other providers.
