Next year are sixteen municipalities under preventive financial control of the provinces. That there are seven more than in 2014. This was reported by the journal Internal Administration.
Zealand will soon have three municipalities are under guardianship and is the province that leads the list, along with Groningen. They are, Vlissingen and chapel. Zealand has had for years not one distressed municipality. Groningen involves Bellingwedde, Vlagtwedde and Ten Boer.

Drenthe, Flevoland and Limburg are the only provinces where all municipalities their finances have order. This is the fifth year in a row that Limburg in all municipalities, the business financially in order.
The enhanced surveillance means that a municipality may enter into any new financial obligations without the consent of the province.
