The number of motorcycles sold rose in the first eleven months of the year by over 12 percent to nearly 15,400.
The sale of mopeds came to nearly 44,950 units, an increase of 2.2 percent. Almost one in ten (4263) of which is electrically powered.
In November, more than a fifth (21 percent) more new motorcycles and over 13 percent more mopeds brought to the man. According to BOVAG the moped is increasingly commuting as an alternative to the car.
” The electric version has a range of up to one hundred kilometers and sufficient thus amply for daily use, ” said the trade association.
