Dutchman is more worried about IS than about care or economics – Parool.nl

Dutch make himself lately less concerned about the economic crisis and the changes in health care, but are especially concerned about terrorism and international crises.

The conflict with IS (Islamic State) is one in three Dutch (35 percent) the biggest concern. This is followed by concerns about the economic crisis (20 percent) and health care reform (17 percent).

That gives the Risk and Crisis Barometer, a biannual measurement of the sense of security of Dutch and their confidence in the government. The barometer is published today by the NCTb. Since 2008, the fear of an economic crisis stood in the first place. Fear of a terrorist attack, this time in fourth place

The previous barometer published in June this year . The concern about unemployment among Dutch since decreased (from 21 percent to 15 percent). But the fear of a disease wave is just the past six months increased significantly (from 36 to 45 percent). According to the researchers, this is probably due to the Ebola outbreak.
