That made research company GfK on Friday.
The revenue from supermarkets went last month by 0.5 percent to 2.7 billion euros. The spending per receipt walked while 2 percent, to an average of 22.96 euros.
In the first half of 2016, the supermarkets grew their sales by 2.5 percent to 16.8 billion euros. The supermarket was just over 1 percent more visitors than in the first six months of 2015. Customers stated while visiting an average of 22.57 euro also over 1 percent more than the year before.
Customers visit according to GfK increasingly supermarket over the internet. In has 16 percent of households made at least one time grocery shopping over the internet in the last two years. Almost half of them did it more than once. This particularly applies to families with children and high-income and young people
