The Greek government will submit a request for emergency aid of € 24 billion. Reuters writes that according to reports in the Greek newspaper Avgi. With that money this month should the banks be strengthened and the European Central Bank will be refunded.
Athens is currently negotiating with the European Commission and the International Monetary Fund on the third bailout since 2010. In total, refers to a package of € 86 billion.
According to the newspaper, which has strong links with the ruling party Syriza, the Greeks expect that negotiations on a first part can be completed within two weeks.
As a condition to support the Greeks have already pledged to carry out major reforms in the economy, such as privatization, reduction of public spending and tax increases.
