Apple has requested access to a former military site in California in the United States, presumably to own autonomous car test It is a protected area with over 30 kilometers of streets and highways

This was reported by the British newspaper The Guardian, based on documents.
It is unclear what the maker of the iPhone will include testing exactly but the terrain is more common as a test site used by car manufacturers. Thus also use Mercedes-Benz and Honda site to test self-driving cars.
