‘Imtech asks bankruptcy for Building Services’ – NU.nl

That says FNV director Jan Meeder Tuesday hearing of the curators. The trustees can not respond yet, their spokesman announced Tuesday.

Building Services operate according to Meeder 1200 people. Theirs will resign if the court gives the bankruptcy. ” That is the worst scenario. Everybody is in the street and is dependent on a possible restart, ” said the trade unionist.

Also CNV trade union has informed the bankruptcy application by the liquidators of Imtech. “After a few days of good news around Imtech, with successful sales, this is a very sad moment. This mass resignation comes hard on, “said the union in a first reaction. ” We are satisfied that the trustees by acting quickly many jobs have kept in the Netherlands. But for the remaining 1200 employees, this is a bitter pill. “

Construction Crisis

Building Services is part of Imtech Netherlands. The part has suffered greatly from the construction crisis. What bankruptcy means for ongoing projects is unclear.

For the acquisition of two other components of Imtech Netherlands (Industrial Services and Industry International) is a lot of interest, says Meeder. Together, these parts count approximately 1300 employees
