The number of applications for dismissal at the UWV last week doubled to 1,450. The benefits agency after confirming reports in the Times this morning. The UWV “does not exclude” that there is a connection with the new Work and security, which commenced today.
From 1 July, resigned from the UWV for employers no longer free. Anyone who has worked somewhere for more than two years, for example, temporary workers also are entitled to a transition allowance. This fee, intended for training or to find other work, is a third to a half month’s salary per year of service and can rise to 75,000.
Redundancy for economic reasons starts today only via the UWV and no more through the courts. On average, there are approximately 800 resignation requests per week, according to the spokesman. The number of applications has an “erratic” and shows more peaks. “The trend is falling due to the economic recovery,” said the UWV.
