Webshop giant Amazon will take a new step in expanding the delivery service. It is intended that a special part of the airspace reserved for drones, so the delivery of parcels now can be done with unmanned aircraft.

This is the Amazon Prime Air project, which calls for a special fly zone for commercial drones. They should fly between sixty and 120 meters high, with a buffer zone of about thirty

meters above it to keep a safe distance with other traffic. The area less than sixty meters above the ground than would be intended for recreational use of drones.

It is not the first time that Amazon regarding drones makes the news. In 2013 small packets have already been delivered by unmanned ‘mini chopper “from a select number of stores. It was huge in delivery time: within half an hour was the package to its destination.
