ACM We place again hefty fines – Dutch Newspaper

 
 


 

THE HAGUE (Reuters) – The Authority for Consumer & amp; Market (ACM) We have two new fines totaling 8 million euros. A fine of 2.7 million euros that was last fall was distributed lowered following a challenge by KPN to 600,000 euros, the regulator said Tuesday.

KPN got the fines because the telecommunications group of consumers would have two different services disadvantaged. It involves a service outage detection and fiber optics. Last year, the ACM fined KPN EUR 2.7 million for a similar offense in the

forwarding service * 21. That penalty turned out on closer inspection, however, considerably too high.

KPN left in a response to appeal to counter the new penalties. Despite the reduction nor the company lies down in the penalty for the forwarding service.
