Number of consumers shopping online increases – Elsevier

                 THE HAGUE (Reuters) – The number of Dutch people often do online shopping has increased from 7.5 million in 2013 to 7.9 million last year. The number of e-shoppers that occasionally strikes over the internet his stroke, remained unchanged at 2.5 million.
             

Together, that amounts to 10.4 million online shoppers Dutch. Around two million Internet users in 2014 bought anything online. This was reported by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Friday.

Travel, clothes and tickets are the most popular products among Dutch e-shoppers. But compared to the previous year, people bought more stuff for the home, including furniture, washing machines and toys. The statistics office recorded an increase of 31 for 39 percent. Also food, cosmetics and cleaning products were often purchased online. The total online retail sales was in 2014 over the previous year more than 11 percent higher
