Independent delivery drivers PostNL back to work – Financieele Dagblad (Registration)

All alone package deliverers PostNL on Monday went back to work. No actions currently being conducted, as PostNL announced on Monday via Twitter.

“We expect all the packages we received today inside 24 hours to provide a large part of the delay, we work out, “says the postal service.

Last week at a part of the depots of PostNL stopped by a group of independent delivery drivers. At depots in the Randstad and North Brabant was stopped Saturday for the fifth day in a row. The stand-alone package deliverers disagree with the agreements made by the postal service with the unions about the possibility to act on a permanent basis.

The

package deliverers PostNL get the opportunity to come into service, or to remain independent at a rate increase of approximately 10%. But the strikers find the 10% increase in the income of self-employed deliverers too low. A spokesman for the group said that an increase of 25% is required.

Ruling judge

Monday afternoon at 17:00 the court does Central Netherlands judgment in a lawsuit over blockade actions at the depots. PostNL went to court in an attempt to put an end to the strike actions alone package deliverers. The lawsuit was aimed at the court in Utrecht against Celil Ören, one of the advocates of the couriers. PostNL wants him to stop calling for blockades of various depots in the country. The postal company summoned Saturday to the strikers in a letter back to work.
