1. Not dead
A Dutch woman of Iranian descent would be deceased in an accident in Iran. It was therefore paid 70,000 euros. But the woman appeared still alive: they dropped at least personally unsubscribe from the GBA-register at the municipality desk. And shortly thereafter she also ordered some new contact lenses. 75 percent is about opportunity fraudsters. We had a break and increases the damage you something. If someone drives a dent in your car, but there were a few scratches and you should also compensate. They are people who are not consciously intend to defraud, but still do it if the opportunity arises.
In the remaining 25 per cent are professional gangs example defraud badges or life insurance. That goes a step further. There are far fewer, but they are good for a lot of fraud.
The most (40 percent) to fraud involving cars, followed by fraud and corporate liability insurance (30 percent), fraud in opstal and furniture (15 percent), shoddy travel insurance (5 percent), and then there’s the ‘anything and everything’ (10 percent).
The fines can be substantial . For instance, a director of a company that fraud committed by absenteeism of non-existent employees 18 months in prison and a fine of half a million. Except for a penalty fraudsters also put on a black list so they run faster against the light when they go back in the error.
And even though it is tempting to do just to let those old scratch reimburse, eventually you shoot yourself in the foot: less fraud namely leads to a lower premium
