The Dutch labor market shows tentative recovery. After years of job shrinkage, this year for the first time slight increase in the number of jobs compared to a year ago. This is evident from the labor forecast published today by the UWV. Also for 2016, the UWV expects slight growth in jobs.
Almost all sectors benefit from the fledgling economic recovery, with the exception of health care, government and financial services. Within the Netherlands to see regional differences. In particular, the regions Amsterdam and Eindhoven ask many new employees. Outside, there still exists a wide labor market.
