Car Service Uber has tightened the regulations on firearms. Both drivers and passengers no guns allowed to contribute more.

So far Uber stuck to local gun laws. But on June 10, the regulations were changed, reports Associated Press. But who bring a firearm into an Uber Taxi may be banned. This applies to both passengers and drivers.

According to Uber is the intention that everyone more at ease with the new rules and that the change comes after feedback. In April, an Uber driver opened fire on an armed man in the US city of Chicago. Thus he helped a group of pedestrians who were shot by the gunman.

Global
The debate about gun laws is again under way in the United States after the shooting in a church this week in which nine people were killed.

The taxi app is started in the United States but now offers its services in nearly 300 cities. In addition, the company is, however, up against problems. So the app UberPOP is prohibited in the Netherlands, as in Germany, Belgium and Spain.
