There are a total of 3.2 million foreign tourists spend their summer vacation in the Netherlands, predicts NBTC Holland Marketing.
It is mainly about Belgians and Germans. One third of the tourists coming this summer is expected from Germany, while 15 percent comes from Belgium.
Approximately 4.5 million Dutch spend a short or long summer holidays in their own country, which is about the same as last year.
Together, tourists spend more than 3 billion during July and August. Of these, some 2 billion on behalf of foreign visitors

Foreign tourists flock mainly to the coast. ” That remains one of the main attractions for people who come to the Netherlands’ says Therese Arian NBTC.
The Dutch themselves are good for a total of nearly 10 million domestic and foreign summer holidays. Of this, 45 per cent made in their own country (4.5 million). That is no more or less than last year, knows the NBTC.
