Apple has made a rapid victory in a lawsuit revolved around alleged restrictions on its iTunes music program. A group of iPod owners accused to the business with its iTunes 7.0 on eradicating competing services. After only three hours of concert, the jury ruled in California Oakland Apple’s favor.
Steve Jobs © ap. Lawyers 8 million iPod owners argued that Apple software from a competitor, designed to fit their own music for iPod, willfully obstructing. The jury was iTunes 7.0 only intended to make improvements in the music service from Apple. In the two-week trial were among more emails and videos of the 2011 deceased co-founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, screened.
The lawyers went for a compensation of 350 million dollars (280 million euros) an amount that could be tripled under the Competition Act in the US. One of the lawyers announced immediately after hearing the verdict, which the jury decided unanimously to appeal.
