Ceo Howard Schultz of Starbucks enters back – NU.nl

Starbucks has now 25.000 offices in 75 countries.

The now 63-year-old Schultz is wearing the baton on april 3, over to his right-hand man and good friend Kevin Johnson. He remains on the Board of Directors of the company and is going to help a new division with more luxury coffee products to develop, reports The New York Times.

The CEO has made Starbucks not only a thriving business, but gave the company a clear voice in national discussions on current topics such as the limit of the wapenwetten, gay rights and rassenongelijkheid.

In the corridors is already being speculated that Schultz may be in 2020 a throw back to the White House would like to do. In the past he has often his displeasure about ‘Washington' spoken and indicated that he has a clear picture of what would need to change in the center of American power.

Schultz is a Democrat. He is good friends with both president Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, that this year the Democratic candidate in the elections.
