Delta Lloyd and NN attract attention on the Amsterdam stock exchange – NU.nl

The AEX was shortly after the opening 0.2 percent in the plus on 483,31 points. The Midcap was virtually unchanged on 682,30 points.

The hoofdgraadmeters in Frankfurt and Paris gained 0.2 percent. In London, where only a half-day will be acted, the FTSE 0.1 percent in the min.

Delta Lloyd took his place after earlier resistance behind the bid of NN, that 10 cents went up to 5,40 euro per share. That limited increase did not much enthusiasm among investors, that the Delta Lloyd share of 0.6 percent in the min, 5,30 euro.

The reaction in the direction of NN Group was much more positive. With a gain of 4 percent was the parent company of Nationale-Nederlanden by far the leader in the AEX-index.

Deutsche Bank

The financial sector was in Europe in the spotlight, by miljardenschikkingen of Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse in the U.S. and the upcoming bailout for the ailing Italian bank Monte dei Paschi.

Deutsche Bank won in Frankfurt 4 percent, because the penalty that must be paid due to the sale of risky hypotheekbeleggingen in the run-up to the financial crisis is lower than feared.

Credit Suisse came to a more favourable settlement than previously by authorities, was presented. The Swiss bank was in Zurich 2 percent more valuable.

In Milan was trading in Monte dei Paschi halted, after it became clear that the bank finally failed enough capital to get to an intervention by the Italian government to prevent. The bank confirmed that the aid of Rome is requested.

ABN Amro

ABN Amro and ING have won the AEX index closed almost 1 percent. ABN reported on Friday that the proposed new chairman Kees van Dijkhuizen is approved by regulators.

The euro was 1,0445 dollar traded against 1,0426 dollar in the European castle a day earlier.

The price of a barrel of U.s. oil fell 0.8% to 52,53 dollar. Brentolie was 0.7 percent cheaper at 54,64 dollar per barrel.
