American companies books 12 per cent of turnover of Dutch industry – NU.nl

Economic interest

American companies enter the foreign companies in the Netherlands also on the list when it comes to value added and employment.

In 2014 it went to 8.8 percent of the total value added of the Dutch business community. American companies had 4.6 percent of all employees in the business sector in the Netherlands in the service.

Foreign companies are of great importance for the Dutch economy. Of the companies is 1.2 percent under foreign control. These companies have achieved in 2014, about 37 percent of the turnover of the Dutch business community.
