“I’ve worked hard for it and I am proud that in the sta”. Peter Gillis, owner of Oostappen Holiday parks, is one of the few millionaires of the Quote 500 openly about his listing talk. The gilt-edged list hangs in a prominent place in his apartment. He sleeps even with the Quote 500 under his pillow. “I think it’s a great book, I see it as my bible,” says Gillis.
The new edition of the list of richest Dutch people today comes from. Because it is the twentieth time it is put on business magazine Quote for the occasion, thousands of clients in a row.
The richest of the country is Randstad founder Frits Goldschmeding. His ability is according to the sheet of euro 3.5 billion, almost a quarter less than last year. On place two and three are, respectively, Dik Wessels (director of construction company VolkerWessels) and entrepreneur Hans Melchers (former owner of chemical company Melchemie, now investor and art collector).
