Pilots of Lufthansa go on 24 hour strike – NOS

the Pilots of the airline Lufthansa to go Wednesday strike. That has the pilotenvakbond published. The pilots are already at odds with the management over their wages. It is the fourteenth strike in more than four years time.

Earlier this month discussions were aborted. The pilots want a salary increase of an average of 3.7 percent over a period of five years, from 2012. Lufthansa has 2.5 percent of the commandments. According to the bond, this comes down to the freeze of the wages.

The strike lasts 24 hours and starts at midnight. Both short and long-haul flights, will it be affected.
