Independent delivery drivers at TNT on Tuesday at five locations in the Netherlands stopped work. They disagree with the bid PostNL has done to them. It was agreed a tariff increase of 10%

The drivers belong to the association SubCo Partners, with about 450 riders are connected. PostNL been struggling for several years with the dissatisfaction among the drivers who say they can not keep afloat. It is sometimes an illusion of independence, because they only have one client.
PostNL now, after pressure from the Ministry of Social Affairs and the tax authorities decided that the drivers again may be employed, but do not want creation of a social fund. Many drivers have accumulated debts and go personally bankrupt if they come earner, said Maurice Jacobs SubCo Partners. It is not yet clear how many drivers are involved in actions
