Subsidized electric cars soon disappears abroad – nrc.nl

Electric cars that are purchased with a grant in the Netherlands, not long after disappearing purchase already abroad. As many as 12 percent of all electric cars on Dutch roads were shipped abroad last year. Reported Financieele Dagblad today based on figures from VWE information.

More than 58 percent of the exported electric cars is a year old at the time of export. Another nearly 24 percent between one and two years old, according to the VWE. Especially in Norway are used electric cars from the Netherlands popular, but also in Russia and Germany they are widely purchased.



More tax breaks for individuals

The reason that other countries are interested in used electric vehicles is because private owners that get a lot of benefits. Norwegian owners as having to pay according to the business newspaper no tolls, they immediately get a permit and should drive the bus lane. Prices for second-Dutch vehicles are therefore relatively high.

In the Netherlands, however, not the case and the advantages especially for commercial drivers. The idea behind it is that the business drivers take over the car after the lease period. But because the benefits for individuals are much smaller than for lease drivers is done according to the FD not always.



The Leaf most popular

The most exported electric car with a considerable distance the Nissan Leaf. Of the 922 cars that were sold abroad last year was almost 79 per cent of cases for this model. Then follow the Tesla Model S and the Citroën C-ZERO, which were exported respectively 102 and 36 times
