Saturday morning around 11.50 am, the police received a report that there had been a collision between a barge and a pleasure boat with engine failure at the height of the Southern and Western IJdijk Merwedekanaal Dijk in Amsterdam, near the camping Zeeburg.
On the boat were two men of 49 and 66 years from Helmond. The 49-year-old man was pulled from the water by the crew of the barge, according to the regional broadcaster AT5 a push boat with 4 trays. He was slightly wounded. To the 66-year-old man, including with divers and a helicopter searched. His body was found at the beginning of the evening.
