“Apple Trademark Watch in Switzerland occupied ‘- NU.nl

The Alps Landje there is already someone else who has the rights to a watch named “Apple” and a picture of an apple as the logo, reports the French-speaking Swiss channel RTS .

A Swiss watch magazine has taken an old document from 1985 surfaced. It states that the Federal Institute for Intellectual Property in Berne granted the rights in 1985 at the Geneva watch brand Leonard. Trademark pass expires on December 5 this year.

Apple and the Swiss patent office have not yet responded to the message.

Apple begins later this month the sale of Apple Watch. The smart watch is initially available in only nine countries, including the United States. It is not yet known if the already much discussed smart watch in Netherlands is available
