New supers go dump – Telegraaf.nl

Amsterdam –

There is new blood in the Dutch supermarket landscape. Separately, three entrepreneurs working hard across the country to set up

some new formulas.

 Photo: Dijkstra BV

The new stores are named Pallet Advantage, Budget Food and Gekkegerrit received and sit in the bottom of the market. The three formulas will compete with the successful German chains Lidl and Aldi. The two chains have in just a few years their market share in our country grow from 8 to 14 percent. It is thought that growth still continues for some time.

Discount popular

Mainly due to the economic downturn, more people went to discount formulas. Lidl has specifically been developed into a store where all the shopping can be done.

Budget Food and Pallet Advantage in recent months a few shops open. Gekkegerrit opens next month its first branch

The three entrepreneurs have each one years of experience in the field

I wonder if the people who complain about high prices sometimes go to supermarkets abroad. These are definitely not expensive cheaper rather than in the Netherlands.

It is time that the AH, and Jumbo and C 1000 cartel chains even be taken under the hands because The Hague known for years that it is wrong within the chains but do nothing with it … who find it so fine but in the meantime we are massively shafted.

it is just a revival, and then they broke. Aldi might be overflowing, but not Lidl, which has too many good fruits and vegetables and is just a topzaak.

That would be crazy, because the prices are skyrocketing! Jumbo and AH are about the only market leaders!
