The “suspicious substance” that Russian inspectors have found in a shipment of American whiskey brand Jack Daniel’s is an agent used in insect venom. That inspectors have the service reported consumer rights, according to the Russian news agency Itar-Tass.
The inspectors found the “suspicious substance” last week during an inspection in the city of Yekaterinburg in the Sverdlovsk region. The Russian alcohol watchdog had known then that the labels of bottles of Jack Daniel’s did not meet the requirements. Thus, there was no information in Russian.
