KPN has announced Wednesday that it has acquired. hosting company Argeweb “These big player provides services such as domain registration, Web hosting, hosted-exchange and online storage services to SMEs,” says KPN.
The developments fit the KPN’s ambition to realize in the corporate market for cloud hosting and further growth. “Argeweb is one of the largest and most successful hosting companies in the Netherlands,” said John van Vianen, KPN Business Market. “Through the acquisition we increase our market position and scale in this fast growing market.”
Win-win
Simultaneously KPN a partnership with Amsio, the sister company of Argeweb. This gives KPN include access to Microsoft Azure Pack. “Not only can customers to make use of the services of Amsio use through the direct or indirect channel KPN has the best network in the Netherlands, which also makes these services easier and much more accessible to our partners. A win-win, “said Gerben van Leeuwen, Director Amsio Group.
